Introductory training programs

New Consultants’ Orientation
All new consultants in Europe starting as Business Analysts, Senior Business Analysts and Associates meet for a week of training in one of our European offices. The course focuses on helping new consultants improve their understanding of the consulting process. The training includes planning, analysis, hypothesis generation, problem-solving, and communication, all of which are provided with an eye on A.T. Kearney’s mission, values and strategy. This popular training event also allows consultants to start building up an international network of relationships within the firm.

Business Analyst Academy
For consultants starting directly from university as a Business Analyst, an additional introductory program called the ‘Business Analyst Academy’ has been implemented recently. The Business Analyst Academy is a six month program in which on-the-job learning is combined with specially designed courses. During this period you will be staffed in different roles, on different projects and in different industries. Once you have gone through this challenging period, your experience and skills base will be broadened so much that you will be able to contribute autonomously to any project.
