- Drive to Zaventem and fly out to Poland
- Meet up at the local airport with colleagues
- Interview managers from different organization departments about their thoughts on the different new organizational structure options and evaluate feasibility of the different options
- Start consolidating interview notes to build a case for change
- Arrange team dinner in the city

I'm in Chivasso, Italy, where I:
- Arrive at the client site at 09:30 to discuss a financial tracking model with the controller
- Review the progress made by the three improvement teams during the past week
- Assist Team 1 to quantify savings, and challenge their assumptions
- Run a workshop to define operator workload (including sensitivity analysis) before leaving for France

I’m in Warsaw, Poland, where I:
- Take a cab from the hotel to the client site with the team
- Discuss first results with the A.T. Kearney team manager and agree on the way to go forward
- Conduct another round of client manager interviews
- Go to the hotel fitness area for a late evening swim
- Meet the team for a beer at the bar to discuss the proceedings of the day

I'm in Lyon, France, where I:
- Run a project prioritization workshop and identify resource requirements
- Initiate a training for cash flow simulation
- Review key deliverables and set the meeting agenda for the coming weeks with the project steering committee
- Attend a team dinner

|
I’m in Warsaw, Poland, where I:
- Go to the client site to meet the CEO together with the whole Kearney team to discuss the planning of the coming project weeks
- Drive to the airport to fly out to the A.T. Kearney Berlin office
- Attend a team dinner

I'm back in Chivasso, where I:
- Draft a summary cash flow model to consolidate the input of the project teams
- Share project progress and best practices with Operations Director
- Run a workshop to define the management processes required to sustain savings

Thursday
|
I’m in Berlin, Germany, where I:
- Work at the Berlin office to meet up with some A.T. Kearney experts and discus project proceedings
- Discuss all the different work streams with the project manager and the team to stay aligned
- Take a flight home to have a nice dinner with some old friends in Brussels
|
I'm still in Chivasso, where I:
- Attend a plant steering committee
- Attend a plant management review with an A.T. Kearney Partner and the Plant Manager
- Tour the plant to identify further improvement opportunities
- Take the 17:30 flight back to Brussels and to have dinner with my family in Utrecht

I'm in Brussels, where I:
- Work on the organizational document and analysis
- Discuss in a conference call the project proceedings with manager and other team members currently at home in Vienna and Frankfurt
- Socialize with my A.T. Kearney colleagues to see what they have been up to this week

I'm Rotterdam, where I:
- Conduct a recruiting presentation at a local university followed by a lunch with several of the students
- Drive to Brussels
- Attend an internal A.T. Kearney "Friday in the Office" presentation
- Have drinks with colleagues
